Joe Flores, RN, MSN, CCRN, FNP, JD is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner and Trial Attorney. His private law practice is based in Texas, practicing in both state and federal courts and focusing on health care law, elder law, and medical negligence. The firm represents physicians, registered nurses and other health care providers in front of their respective State Board and with peer review committee questions. Mr. Flores is also an adjunct professor and guest lecturer on areas where the law and medicine overlap.
Joe put himself through law school while working as a registered nurse in the ICU setting. He holds an Associate, Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing as well as Doctorate of Jurisprudence degree from South Texas College of Law. Joe is married to a registered nurse and home health owner. Joe's mother is still employed as a nursing supervisor in a South Texas nursing home.
