Joe has a private practice in Corpus Christi, where he has lived and worked since the age of 17. Joe also is a registered nurse with an advance practice board certification to diagnose, prescribe and treat patients. Mr. Flores has dedicated his health care and law career to the people of South Texas and places a specific emphasis on elder care and elder rights. Joe contributes to the community as an educator at Del Mar College in his capacity as an adjunct professor and guest lecturer on areas where the law and medicine overlap. He is also involved in several community activities which benefit the youth and the elderly and the homeless.
We are based in Corpus Christi, but also practice in Houston, TX.
Joe's Background: Joe was born in Alice, Texas and moved to Corpus Christi, Texas in June of 1985. Joe grew up in a modest home and both of his parents did not receive their college degrees until their 40's. Joe's father is a retired teacher and his mother is still employed as nursing supervisor in a South Texas nursing home. It was through their example that despite financial obstacles Joe worked hard and put himself through school while working 12 and 16 hour nightshifts as a registered nurse in the ICU setting. His educational background includes an associate, bachelor and Master of Science in nursing as well as doctorate of jurisprudence degree from South Texas College of Law. South Texas College of Law has been consistently ranked as a top school for advocacy of clients. Joe is married to Priscilla who is a registered nurse and home health owner. They have a daughter Vanessa who is 18 months old. |
